LUCAS COLOMBO CARBONE

–   From absolute control,  to material autonomy   –

My work extends the boundaries of my background in design across automotive, private aviation, and naval disciplines—fields defined by precision, control, and functional intent.

Here, that logic is deliberately unsettled. Material is no longer fully governed; it resists, reacts, and asserts its own agency. Processes of erosion, accumulation, and transformation unfold through a dynamic exchange

 between intention and contingency.

This practice marks a shift toward a more open visual language, in which form emerges through the tension between structure and material autonomy—between the organic and the constructed.
